The Enta Independent School will no longer be taking groups of pupils from Easter 2009 however we are happy to discuss Enhanced Vocational Curriculum provision with schools and referral agencies on a case by case basis for young people who are on school roll.
Enta can offer enhanced vocational curriculum and work based learning for 14 – 16 year olds in a friendly setting where all learners are listened to and treated with respect.
Enta has 30 years experience as a training provider and 8 years experience of alternative and enhanced curriculum provision. (The Enta Independent School was open from November 2007 to March 2009).
We want to see all young people be the best they can be. We have realistic expectations and offer a flexible, varied, learner centred programme that treats young people as individuals and values every achievement.
We focus on Skills for Life – numeracy, literacy, confidence building – as the key building blocks for progression. We offer small group sizes and an experienced and friendly team.
We recognise the immense value of the Every Child Matters framework and at Enta, Every Learner Matters.
We want all of our learners to:
- Stay safe
- Keep Healthy
- Enjoy and Achieve
- Gain Economic Prosperity
- Make a Positive Contribution
Good relationships and communication between Enta and learners’ homes are vitally important. Regular consultation meetings between parents and staff are arranged and we have an open-door policy.
We welcome the chance to meet parents, carers and guardians and anyone who is seeking Enhanced Vocational Curriculum provision for a young person. If you wish to discuss any matter concerning your child or Enta's enhanced curriculum provision please call Nicola Quigley, Training Centre Manager on 0121 380 4801.
