Customers are always invited to supply feedback on their experience of using our conference centre. Here are some of the comments made and the outcomes:
"An online availability calendar would be useful"
The availability of rooms is now published on our website
"Logging into WiFi could be improved - code/instructions printed out"
This has now been included in the welcome pack and will shortly be posted on the back of the door in each of the meeting rooms.
"Real filter coffee made from beans"
This has been given some consideration however due to the sometines high volumes of customers we have to move through the servery area in relatively short coffee breaks the machines would be impractical as they would need constant filling up and could not be refilled and replenished in time to meet the demand.
"Directions to Enta - people get anxious driving in to Birmingham - postcode takes you to the main road only - some landmarks would be hood"
The conference information pack includes updated details on how to find us including instructions for those arriving on foot and by bus.
"Car parking an issue"
This is an area we are currently trying to address. There are 10 spaces on the car park allocated to the conference centre and these are available on a first come first served basis. People arriving at the centre assume that there are spaces available and park accordingly occasionally blocking other vehciles in. We are looking at implementing a pre-booking service in the New Year to alleviate some of these problems.
"Cost of each room could be more prominent when browing online - cost is the number one factor in choosing a room and your prices are mid-range so an attraction."
The room hire rates are now included in the information about each room.
"Had a few issues tracking down some last minute requirements (blue tac and flip chart pens) but that was as much our fault for not giving warning."
Basic stationery packs have been put in each room, these include pens, styapler, scissors, post it notes and white tac.
