We offer a wide range of short courses and vocational training for all ages, as well as an ‘Entry to Employment’ programme for 16-18 year olds.
Many courses are free for those in receipt of a means tested benefit or available at a low cost for those in employment. Our Short Courses for members of the public include;
- Health and Safety at Work (Level 2)
- Food Safety in Catering (Level 2)
- First Aid for those Caring for Children (Level 2)
- Risk Assessment
and lots more.

Job Centre Plus
Current local vacancies are displayed on the Job Centre Plus noticeboard in the Lakeside Cafe, changed on a weekly basis, and a weekly Job Club session run by Connexions is held every Tuesday.
