16-18

Enta specialises in working with 16 – 18 year olds who are not in education, employment or training.

Enta e2e Certificate Presentation Event December 08We recognise that this group of young people are at different stages in their life journey and we make sure we listen to their individual needs and offer tailored programmes to help them progress.  We provide work based learning to 16 – 18 year olds via the Learning and Skills Council funded e2e (entry to employment) programme.

Young people can choose from a range of programmes to suit their needs.

The regular e2e programme is a structured timetable at Enta’s Birmingham City Centre training centre. It includes Vocational training, Personal and Social Development and Skills for Life.

The fluid e2e programme offers a more informal schedule to fit around the young persons needs.  Contact time with a mentor can take place on an outreach basis to bring learning the learner in a comfortable non threatening environment such as a local cafe or youth centre. Trainees work towards 16 hours a week gaining skills and confidence.

Enta also works with young people not in education, employment or training who are not yet ready for a formal programme such as e2e. Trained outreach workers offer mentoring programmes such as Elev8 to help motivate young people think about their future and take steps towards personal and professional development.
