The Kingstanding Employment Strategy Group, the Kingstanding and Oscott Events Group and the Lakeside Children’s and Family Learning Centre regularly organise a variety of events to bring training and employment opportunities into the heart of the community in the North of Birmingham.
An annual event is the Kingstanding Family Fun Day, which takes place during Adult Learners Week each May to celebrate lifelong learning for all ages.
The Family Fun Day features entertainment, music, refreshments, stalls, bouncy castle, visits from the local police and fire service as well as a whole range of learning, training and jobs information for all ages.
