Enta is mainly funded by bidding for contracts for projects from a variety of sources. Since the organisation began in 1977 we have had to show flexibility and innovation as funding streams regularly change and evolve.
We are funded by the LSC (Learning and Skills Council) in particular for our e2e (Entry to Employment) course. Birmingham City Council supports the Lakeside Children’s and Family Learning Centre. We have also received funding from the European Social Fund, European Regional Development Fund and the National Lottery. We work with a number of organisations such as City College to deliver courses in partnership with them.
Our Business Development Manager Judy Tullett is involved with researching funding streams and ensuring Enta can continue to provide courses and services to the people of Birmingham.
Enta’s runs a number of social enterprises and as a community interest company all profits are used to enhance training provision and services to the Community.
