Trainees from our e2e (Entry to Employment) programme can choose a placement with the Estate Improvement team where they work alongside qualified staff and learn valuable skills.
They are trained on power tools such as chainsaws, slab cutters, hedge cutters, strimmers, kango hammers, lawn mowers, power drills and cement mixers and learn about grass cutting, hedge trimming, tree pruning, block paving, slab laying, post sinking, concreting, painting, fence making and door handing.
Name of Trainee says “I really enjoyed this placement as I like working outside and in a team and learning useful skills to help me get a job etc”
