KESG

Kingstanding Employment Strategy Group (KESG)

Enta has been the lead agency of the KESG since April 2006. The KESG is the local expression of the Aston & North Access to Employment Group (AEG). It comprises of a core group of key workers from local voluntary & community projects as well as those from the public and private sector who are committed to working and supporting the residents and communities of Kingstanding.

Aims of the KESG

To coordinate, complement and share good practice between the organisations that have a remit to support or provide learning, training and employment opportunities in local areas.

Partnership Working

Through working in partnership we can all gain through organisations and services which support residents within and around the Kingstanding area who wish to access or prepare for employment.

New Contracts Providers

To ensure the best added value to our work and achieve a strategic approach to the provision in Kingstanding and surrounding areas we try and map the new contracts providers who are working in the area. We encourage new providers to share their work remit with the KESG, identify complementary working possibilities and avoid duplication.
