The Lakeside Centre is open to the whole community and has a wide range of activities for all ages.
The Centre is home to a 50 place Children’s Nursery, a community Cyber Café, and a selection of multi use rooms that are available for hire.
Free careers advice and guidance, training courses, job clubs, salsa dancing, aerobics, street dancing/fit kids, community health services and family support are just a few of the services on offer. A Dads’ Club and more activities for teenagers and older people will soon be launched.
Lakeside Children’s and Family Learning Centre opened in 2006 and is run by Enta (Employment Needs Training Agency) who have been working in the community in Birmingham to provide learning and training opportunities for over 30 years.
The Lakeside Centre will unfortunately be closed on Monday July 26th 2010 as all staff are required to attend a Staff Conference.
