'Growing Stronger Grassroots in Birmingham'
'Growing Stronger Grassroots in Birmingham' is the project title of the Basis 2 Initiative. The work is funded through the Big Lottery Fund using money generated by sales of National Lottery Tickets. It helps Enta and other organisations' Development Agencies (DAs) to support and capacity build Voluntary & Community Organisations (VCOs) within Birmingham.
Enta's DA can assist and facilitate VCOs based in the Wards of Erdington, Kingstanding and Stockland Green by:
- Undertaking an organisational needs analysis
- Supporting to meet quality standards
- Advising on gathering feedback from stakeholders
- Helping to develop policies and procedures to meet standards and expectations of funders
- Addressing environmental & sustainability issues
- Sharing models of good practice
- Facilitating partnership working
- Circulating current information on training for staff and volunteers or possible funding opportunities
- Arranging information and awareness raising workshops on a variety of themes and issues
