Kingstanding Employment Strategy Group success relies on partnership working by its core members as well as cooperation from those organisations and agencies who hold time limited contracts for learning, training or employment delivery for the residents of the Kingstanding Area.

From information that has been given back to us through our joint events and initiatives as well as career guidance sessions during 2008 residents of Kingstanding, we know that;

• 35 people had interviews for Tesco jobs
• 23 people attended a computer repair or carpentry short course
• 12 people went into employment
• 11 people achieved a Fork Lift Truck Licence qualification
• 5 people went on to FE College
